HERAT, May. 22 – Amid ongoing Al Khandaq spring offensive, Mujahideen attacked an enemy check post in Tanki area of Kushki Kuhna district last night, overrunning the post after an intense gunfight of heavy and light arms that went for about 2 hours, killing 2 puppets and leaving a further 7 wounded as well as forcing the rest to flee leaving corpses, 1 mortar tube, 2 PKM machine guns, 2 rifles and other other ammunition behind on the battle ground.
