9 killed and wounded, APC destroyed in Gerishk

HELMAND, Oct. 13 – A sniper has shot 2 police in Parchaw area of Gerishk district overnight, killing on the spot and leaving another deadly wounded.
Meanwhile, 2 more gunmen were shot and instantly killed in a check post’s tower in Tori Shah area of the said district.
Moreover, a landmine ripped through an enemy APC in the said area early this morning, leaving all gunmen killed or hurt abroad.
Another report say, 2 local militiamen were killed after being sniped in Mahajaro area of the said district last midnight.
Likewise, 2 enemy personnel were killed and another one wounded in Nawi Karez area of the said district last night.
