9 killed and wounded, 2 APCs destroyed as offensive repelled in Nahr Siraj

HELMAND, Sep. 01 – A heavy gunfight erupted after Mujahideen strongly fought off an enemy offensive for reopening the Lashkargah rout early this morning.
During firefight a hireling APC was destroyed by 82 – artillery fire and another one by a landmine attack.
Enemy patrol also came under bombing in the area, killing and wounding 9 puppets and forcing the rest to flee.
