9 killed, 9 injured in eastern Afghanistan 

NANGARHAR, Mar. 15 – Two policemen were killed with a tank destroyed when Mujahideen attacked a check post in Khogyani district of Nangarhar province on Thursday morning.

Similarly, a puppet was killed after Mujahideen raided a check post in Achin district of the province later in the morning, while a roadside bomb blast ripped into the enemy vehicle elsewhere in the said district in the morning hours of Wednesday, killing 2 puppets and leaving 1 wounded.

Later on Wednesday morning, 2 puppets were killed and 6 more were wounded with a vehicle destroyed after Mujahideen attacked a base in Achin district of this province on Wednesday.

Also Wednesday, Mujahideen attacked the convoy carrying the provincial governor in the said district, leaving 2 puppets wounded.
