WARDAK, Aug. 14 – Two enemy soldiers were killed and another two wounded in an exchange of fire with Mujahideen in Syed Abad district of Wardak province early today.

A Mujahid fighter, too, embraced martyrdom with another two wounded in today’s fighting.

Also Monday, a roadside bomb blast killed two enemy soldiers and destroyed a fuel truck elsewhere in Syed Abad district.

Later Monday, at least 6 enemy security personnel were killed and another 7 were injured in an intense fighting following Mujahideen attack on the enemy convoy in Syed Abad district of Wardak province.

Sadly, a civilian was shot and wounded in the enemy fire.

Separately, a tank was destroyed in a bomb attack later today in the mentioned district but it is unclear how many suffered casualties.
