9 killed, 6 taken captives in northern Afghanistan

 BALKH, Dec. 12 – A puppet was killed and his motorbike was destroyed in ambush attack in Khas Balkh district of northern Balkh province, while a policeman was wounded in attack on a post in the said district.

In the province’s Chahar Bolak district, an unknown number of the enemy suffered casualties with 2 tanks destroyed in a series of Mujahideen attacks, while Mujahideen seized from the enemy 4 (M16) rifles, 1 DShK (a heavy antiaircraft vehicle mounted gun), 1 rifle, 1 heavy machine gun and 1 bomb dropper and ammo.

Moreover, 2 enemy soldiers were killed and one was wounded in an attack on a post in Khas Balkh district northern Balkh province, while 6 puppets were killed when Mujahideen attacked the enemy convoy with explosives in the said district in which a tank was also destroyed.

In a report from northern Kunduz province, Mujahideen fighters seized a combat post from the local military during an operation in Imam Sahib distort, Kunduz province in which 2 enemy soldiers were killed and 1 was wounded, whereas 6 enemy personnel were taken prisoners with 6 Kalashnikov machine guns and 1 RPG rocket.
