GHAZNI, Oct. 28 – Amir ud Din Ghubar, the deputy district police chief was killed and two of his gunmen were wounded in a Mujahideen surprise attack in Qarabagh district of southern Ghazni province on Thursday.

Later in the day, the convoy carrying the body of Amin Pikai, a top-level officer killed along with two of his gunmen earlier Thursday was taken by surprise en route to Kabul in the limits of Shalgar district of Ghanzi province.

At least 8 puppets were killed and two vehicles destroyed in the resulting firefight by Mujahideen.
