9 killed, 2 captured as post overrun

 PAKTIA, May 29 – Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate seized an enemy post when they raided the military units in Patan district of Paktia province last night.

At least 7 puppets were killed and several more suffered casualties in the ensuing firefight that lasted over an hour, while Mujahideen captured 2 policemen.

Similarly, Mujahideen recovered 7 Kalashnikov rifles, 2 PK heavy machine guns, 1 RPG rocket and a good deal of ammunition.

In the province’s Girda Chiri district, 2 enemy soldiers were killed and 3 more were hurt when an enemy vehicle hit a landmine on Sunday.

In another report, Mujahideen attacked a check post last night but there is no information on the enemy casualty toll.
