LAGHMAN, Nov. 11 – Mujahideen fighters stormed a post belonging to militia in Dawlat Shah district of eastern Laghman province in which an Arbaki commander was killed and 2 of his gunmen were wounded.
Fighting raged yet again when the reinforcements headed by Abdul Maalik, the district police chief joined in shortly after the attack on the post.
At least 4 enemy soldiers including 2 officers were killed, while 3 more were wounded the clash.
The district police chief was among those wounded in the firefight.
According to reports from neighboring Nangarhar province, 4 enemy soldiers were killed and 5 more wounded in a deadly fighting triggered by enemy offensive in Bati Kot district of the province.
