    As per the Ministry of Rural, Reconstruction, and Development, construction works of 9 check dams have been completed. According to details these nine chak dams, totaling 26.5 million Afghanis, have been commissioned in the Alborz, Chimtal, Shulgra, and Kishindh districts in Balkh province.
