BADAKHSHAN, Jan. 9 – Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate attacked the enemy combat posts in Baharak district of northern Badakhshan province on Sunday, sparking off a daylong fighting in which 5 Arbakis were killed and another 5 Arbakis including Qadar, a commander were wounded.
Mujahideen are making progress with operations and said to be advancing on the district center.
Also Sunday, four Arbakis were killed elsewhere in the mentioned distict after Mujahideen stormed the enemy posts.
