Under the leadership of Prime Minister H.E. Alhaj Mullah Muhammad Hassan Akhund, the 8th Cabinet Meeting of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan convened on Monday where warious matters were deliberated upon and decisions were reached during the session.

Commencing with a recitation of the Holy Quran, the cabinet meeting focused on the agenda item concerning the prohibition of low-quality oil imports into the country. A delegation led by Mawlawi Shamsuddin Shariati, overseeing orders and directives, was tasked with conducting a thorough investigation into preventing the entry of substandard oil, taking into account economic assistance plans, and presenting a comprehensive report at the subsequent cabinet gathering.

Furthermore, another delegation led by the Ministry of Interior was assigned to formulate a strategy regarding the importation of rickshaws for urban transportation and commuting within cities, with the directive to report back the outcomes at the following cabinet meeting.
