87,266 Metric Tons of Goods Transported by Railway Last Week

KABUL, Jan. 20 – During the last week Afghanistan Railway facilitated the transportation of a significant volume of goods, amounting to 87,266 metric tons, says ARA in a statement.

Among these, 70,456 tons were transported via Hairatan Railway, 2,198 tons via Aqeena Railway, and 14,612 tons via Torghondi Railway. The materials transported included petroleum, non-petroleum products, and various other commodities, contributing to the import and export activities of the country.

 

It is worth noting that a portion of these transfers involved transit and export operations. Over the course of the previous week, 1,039 tons of goods were transited and exported, predominantly consisting of dry fruits, rice, and fresh fruites.
