17 killed as enemy offensive ends in rout

KUNDUZ, Dec. 21 – As many as 15 joint enemy personnel suffered casualties in Kunduz battle yesterday.

The fighting unfolded in the limits of Kunduz city, the provincial capital of the province and lasted through much of the day in which the enemy was repelled with fatal losses.

Separately, two puppets were killed and a dozen more suffered wounds in the fresh operations launched by the enemy early in the Kunduz city early Wednesday.

A Mujahid fighter is said to have been wounded in the fighting.
