Under the direction of the Islamic Emirate’s leadership, 850 million Afghanis were allocated to settle outstanding loans owed by private entities from the previous administration.

The Ministry of Finance has disclosed that, in adherence to the Islamic Emirate’s directive, a process was initiated to address the pending obligations and assurances of several domestic private contracting and logistics firms and individuals. As part of this initiative, the demands and assurances of 35 institutions from the preceding administration have been integrated into the system, verified, and endorsed.

As per the ministry’s statement, among the aforementioned establishments, 21 entities that shared their reference reports with the Ministry of Finance have received payments equivalent to 10 percent in the year 1402 and 15 percent in the current year. This cumulative sum amounts to 850 million Afghanis disbursed thus far.
