KABUL, Jan. 07 – Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs of the IEA, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, said that during the past two weeks, the economic commission has approved eight projects worth 750 million AFN proposed by Kabul Municipality.

Addressing the ceremony of signing Amu river oil extraction agreement with a Chinese company, Baradar said Kabul’s landscape has changed since the advent of the Islamic Emirate, adding that the country’s economy will gradually improve as major national projects are ongoing.

According to Kabul Municipality, the municipality is implementing 40 projects for road construction and repair, intersection upgrades, booth creation, and other public services in various parts of the capital city.
