HELMAND, Apr. 13 – A police trooper was shot and killed by a sniper this morning in Zarh Sahib Area of Nawa district.
Likewise, a gunman passing by Khasar Abad area of the said district on motorbike came under a Mujahideen ambush late yesterday, destroying the motorbike and killing him on the spot.
Moreover, a hireling check post in Khaksar Jamea area, Nahr Siraj region of Gerishk district came under a Mujahideen attack overnight, destroying a ranger pickup, killing and wounding all 6 puppets inside.
A Mujahid is reported to have been hurt during the crossfire, too.
