8 killed and wounded as 2 APCs, tank destroyed in Helmand

HELMAND, Oct. 03 – At around 6:00 pm local time on Sunday Mujahideen attacked enemy troops arriving Simeti area of Marjah district with several tanks and APCs, during which a hireling tank and APC were destroyed by heavy artillery fire, leaving 8 gunmen killed and wounded and forcing the rest to flee.

Meanwhile another enemy APC was shred into pieces in Jamp area of Nad Ali district, killing and wounding all gunmen abroad.

Separately, enemy has fled and abandoned one their key base in Dasht area of Khan-e-Sheen district midday today because of continuous Mujahideen attacks, resulting in a large area fell to Mujahideen and a sizeable amount of war equipment seized.
