BAGHLAN, May 12 – Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate intercepted the convoy ferrying Ata Noor, the provincial governor Kailagi district of Baghlan province on Thursday. At least 4 puppets were injured and a tank got destroyed in the resulting exchange of fire.

In another report, Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate seized two of the enemy posts in Baraka district of Baghlan province last night.

At least 8 puppets were killed and several more suffered injuries in the attack, while Mujahideen captured from the enemy 1 rocket, 1 PKM, a heavy vehicle-mounted machinegun, 1 mortar gun, 5 Kalashnikovs and a good deal of ammo.

The district is said to have been a scene of fighting since last night. Heavy fighting is said to be ongoing in Baraka district.
