8 killed, 3 vehicles destroyed in Wardak attacks

WARDAK, Aug. 12 – Faisal, a puppet commander was injured and two of his gunmen were killed late Thursday in Wardak province’s Syed Abad district when Mujahideen shot the vehicle they were riding in.

Later, Mujahideen attacked an enemy checkpoint elsewhere in the said district, killing two puppets.

Also Thursday, the convoy ferrying provincial governor of Wardak came under Mujahideen attack in Nirkh district of the province, causing the enemy casualties and leaving a vehicle destroyed.

In another attack on Thursday, two puppets were killed and several more wounded with a tank and a vehicle destroyed in Chak district of the province.

Furthermore, two Arbakis were killed in separate attacks in the provincial capital of Wardak province on the same day.
