GHAZNI, Sept. 19 – Al-Emarah News said Thursday at least 8 enemy soldiers were killed and more 10 suffered injuries in a violent fighting as the enemy tried to break the Mujahideen five-day long siege.
The fighting intensified early Thursday morning when a large number of the enemy tanks and vehicles part of the reinforcements faced Mujahideen vigorous resistance.
The enemy was forced back with fatal losses in which some 8 enemy soldiers were killed and a further 10 were wounded. An enemy vehicle was also destroyed in Thursday’s fighting.
The enemy pounded a village with heavy weapons, leaving 4 civilians martyred with 2 more wounded.
