HELMAND, Jun. 09 – Reports arriving from Gerishk district state that, commander Abdul Manan among 8 police were killed when Mujahideen overrun a check post belonging to ANP close to Chahar Gul Pump area, Nahr Siraj region of Gerishk district while destroying a tank, 1 ranger and a motorbike as well as seizing a good deal of ammunitions.
Another enemy APC arriving the scene for reinforcement came under a Mujahideen ambush and destroyed killing and wounding more enemy personal abroad.
