FARYAB, May. 17 – According to reports, 2 enemy check posts in Sheikha area of Dawlatabad district were overrun last night, following an intense gunfight, forcing the enemy to flee after taking heavy fatalities while seizing a sizable amount of war spoils.
Separately, heavy clashes erupted against enemy troops in Faiz Abad area of Shireen Tagab district at 4:00 pm local time yesterday, during which an enemy tank was destroyed, killing 4 puppets including commander Bismillah and another commander while seizing a rifle and a communication radio.
Moreover, amid ongoing Al Khandaq Operations, Mujahideen took control over a hireling post in Gandab area of Chilgazy district last night, killing a gunman and leaving 3 more wounded as well as seizing a PK machine gun, 1 M16 rifle and other equipment.
3 Mujahideen are said to have been wounded in the operation.
