    BALKH, May 16 – At least 8 enemy military personnel were killed and 3 more were wounded when the enemy military convoy was taken by surprise in Nar-e-Shahi district of northern Balkh province last night.

    One of the enemy’s armored personnel carriers was destroyed, whereas 2 tanks and a good deal of arms and ammo were seized in the operation.
