DAIKUNDI, Sep. 06 – Officials say Mujahideen started coordinated attacks on enemy installations around Gizab district center late last night, amid Omari annual campaigne. Attacks in which heavy and light arms were used, resulted in 8 enemy bases completely overrun, forcing the enemy to flee after suffering heavy casualties. A ranger pickup, 5 motorbikes and other war equipment was confiscated. Currently Mujahideen are conducting clearing operation in the area while the said district center and police HQ is under tight siege by Mujahideen.
