74 killed and wounded, 3 tanks destroyed as offensive repelled in Farah

FARAH, Apr. 02 – Officials say enemy convoy supported by aerial planes that arrived some 10 days ago to Gerani, Ganj Abad, Shewan, Khwaja Khizr, Dehzak and Kal Kala areas of Bala Baluk district for operation fled disgracefully overnight after taking heavy fatalities.
According to details, as many as 41 commandos, ANA and ANP troops have been killed with further 33 wounded and 3 tanks, 2 kamaz trucks and a ranger pickup have so far been destroyed during the last 10 days.
Enemy has heavily bombarded civilians and targeted villagers with blind mortar shelling, martyring 5 Mujahideen and 7 villagers, while leaving 7 Mujahideen and numerous countrymen hurt.
