72 including 5 commanders killed, 33 others wounded in Marjah

HELMAND, Jan. 03 – According to reports from Marjah district of southern Helmand province enemy convoy that arrived 11 days ago from capital Lashkargah’s 4th crops and Nad Ali districts to the said district for operation with help of invaders, forced to flee late yesterday, after taking heavy corporeal and logistic losses.
According to details, enemy faced befitting response by Mujahideen in the form of IED blasts, sniper fires and attacks, destroying 11 APCs, 1 Kamaz truck and a loader while killing 72 puppets including 5 commanders – Asad Popal, Esmatullah Barakzaiy, Abdul Rehman, Bahadur Khan and another commander of 4th corps – while leaving more than 33 puppets seriously wounded as well as seizing a vehicle.
It is said that 13 Mujahideen combatants have been wounded and 23 other including 7 villagers have been martyred in the 11 days long gunfight (May Allah accept them).
