Today, a gathering took place at the Star Palace within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to commemorate the 70th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Afghanistan and China.
In attendance were Alhaj Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanekzai, the Deputy Minister for Political Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mr. Zhao Xing, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, diplomats, senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, university educators, students, as well as Afghan and Chinese business representatives.
The session delved into discussions concerning the historical context, significance, and progressions of the diplomatic relationship shared between Afghanistan and China. Moreover, participants explored strategies aimed at enhancing long-term political, economic, and trade collaborations between the two nations, with the objective of bolstering their ties further.
