 WARDAK, Nov. 6 – Mujahidin have rescued Zakaria, a 7-year-old boy from abductors in Nirkh district of Maidan Wardak province.

The boy along with his family were on their way home back from Kabul last Monday when he was abducted by a gang of kidnappers, whereas, the family right after the incident contacted the Mujahideen and reported the kidnapping.

The Mujahideen instantly surrounded the area where the boy was taken and carried out a search operation based on intelligence, during which the abducted child was recovered. The gang leader was arrested.

Zakaria was handed over to his family in the presence of his relatives and the gang leader was turned over to the sharia courts of the Islamic Emirate.
