According to Hafiz Ziaullah Hashemi, the Ministry of Higher Education spokesperson, following the assumption of control by the Islamic Emirate, Kabul University has introduced seven new doctoral and eleven master’s degree programs.

Mr. Hashemi has specified that the doctoral programs encompass disciplines such as jurisprudence and law, hadith studies, computer science, veterinary science, Arabic language and literature, horticulture, and Afghanistan studies.

Additionally, the master’s programs cover areas including criminal law and criminology, Islamic culture, da’wah (Islamic preaching), Islamic belief and philosophy, plant protection, agriculture, general psychology, Afghanistan studies, educational planning and policy, industrial chemistry, and hydrology.
