 KUNDUZ, Jan. 25 – Mujahideen of the Islamic late  yesterday night seized a post belonging to local militia located in the limits of Kunduz city, the capital of Kunduz province, triggering a firefight in which at least 7 Arbakis were killed and many others were wounded.

Later, Mujahideen engaged the reinforcement that approached the site to join in. An unknown number of the enemy suffered casualties in the second episode of fighting, while two of the enemy’s tanks were destroyed.

A Mujahid fighter is said to have been martyred with two more wounded in the operation.

In a report from northern Samangan province, an Arbaki commander and his gunmen were wounded in an ambush attack in Darah Souf district of Samangan province on Wednesday.
