7 killed, equipment seized as post overrun in Lashkargah

HELMAND, Jan. 03 – According to reports, Mujahideen carried out an attack on a hireling post close to Lashkargah regiment area overnight, amid ongoing ‘Omari’ annual campaign.
Attacks of heavy and light arms resulted in the post was overrun after a brief resistance, killing 7 puppets and forcing the rest to flee while leaving 3 corpses behind on the battle ground.
According to details, a policeman has been arrested and a PKM machine gun, 2 rifles and various rounds were seized with several other ammunitions destroyed.
All praise belongs to Allah alone as Mujahideen suffered no casualties in the operation.
