7 killed and wounded as ranger, tank destroyed in Herat

HERAT, Apr. 24 – A hireling tank was torn apart following an IED blast in Adrasakan district’s Bazar area midday on Sunday, killing a gunman and wounding another inside.

In another report, Mujahideen attacked an enemy check post in Khojoryano area of the said district on Sunday night, sparking clashes that lasted for about 3 hours, leveling the post, destroying a ranger and another vehicle, killing 2 puppets and leaving 2 more seriously wounded.

Moreover, a trooper was shot and killed on the spot in Sarpul area of Obi district last night.
