URUZGAN, Jul. 12 – Reports say, a gunfight that erupted against enemy troops in Nakil area of capital Tarinkot are said to be still ongoing, so far 2 enemy APCs have been destroyed with several gunmen killed or hurt inside. In another report, an enemy convey was forced to flee after an intense gunfight of heavy and light arms in Cholengar area of capital Tarinkot midday today. Meanwhile enemy has targeted civilians compounds in Murabad area of the capital leaving an elder martyred. Furthermore, 3 puppets were killed with 2 others wounded and 2 rifles seized amid a Mujahideen ambush in Qatzo area of Khas Uruzgan district last night. Similarly, 2 puppets were killed and a rifle seized in Tori area of capital Tarinkot yesterday. Also in Tarinkot, Mujahideen have overrun 4 compound-turned check posts, forcing the enemy to flee after sustaining heavy tolls.
