7 killed, 5 hurt as key post overrun in Badghis

BADGHIS, Aug. 05 – Mujahideen attacked a hireling check post in Akazo area of Murghab district overnight, amid ongoing Operation Mansouri.
According to details that said post which was under tight besiege of Mujahideen for the last 10 days, overrun after killing 7 puppets and leaving 5 others wounded as well as forcing the rest to flee.
A mortar tub, 1 RPG launcher, 1 sniper gun, 1 PKM machine gun, 2 rifles, 1 communication radio, 2 binoculars and other war equipment have been seized a war spoils.
A Mujahid was also martyred in the operation.
