KHOST, Aug. 1 – Early Tuesday morning, Mujahideen fighters ambushed the police in Musa Khail district of Khost province, leaving 3 policemen dead and 2 more wounded.
A little over an hour later, a roadside bomb blast killed 2 enemy soldiers elsewhere in the said district.
Similarly, 2 policemen were killed and one got injured in a bomb attack in the provincial capital of Khost province on Tuesday.
In a report from the neighboring province of Paktika, the enemy abandoned three of their posts in Barmal district of the province on Sunday.
With enemy forces gone, a large territory has come under Mujahideen control.
The enemy wrongly claimed to have martyred several Mujahideen fighters, while no Mujahideen suffered any casualties in the operation.
