7 killed, 11 wounded as check post overrun in Shinkot

GHOR, Aug. 31 – Amid ongoing ‘Operation Omari’, Mujahideen carried out an attack on Jubair check post situated close to Shinkot district center overnight.
The gunfight of about 3 hours resulted in the check post completely overrun, 7 minions killed, 11 others wounded and the rest force to flee.
A rocket launcher, multiple rifles and various other war equipment was seized while Mujahideen suffered no casualties.
