FARYAB, Jun. 07 – Mujahideen launched coordinated attacks on a hireling base and check posts in Qara Sheikhi area of Juma Bazar district early last night. Attacks of heavy and light arms continued till early morning hours, resulting in the said base and 2 posts overrun, killing commander Noorak along with 6 others as well as arresting 2 others while seizing 2 heavy machine guns, 4 rifles and other war tools. Mujahideen have suffered no causalities in the operation.
