7 arrested as 2 check posts overrun in Farah

FARAH, Apr. 22 – Mujahideen raided 2 enemy check post located on Kandahar-Herat highway in Bazar area of Farah Rod district last night with help of 7 surrendered ALP gunmen.

Overrunning both check posts after arresting 7 enemy personnel along with a hireling commander – Shier Agha – while seizing 2 PKM machine guns, 2 RPG launchers, 15 rifles, 2 vehicles, 1 motorbike and other toll.
