KABUL, Jan. 03 – Today, the sixth meeting of the Afghanistan-Pakistan Joint Coordination Committee took place in Islamabad


, Pakistan, announced Zabaihullah Mujahid the spoksman of the IEA.

As part of their rotational meeting schedule, the committee convenes in both Kabul and Islamabad. Representing Afghanistan in this meeting was Alhaji Mullah Muhammad Shirin Akhand, the Minister of Strategic Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense and Acting Governor of Kandahar.

 

Continuing the discussions from previous meetings, the primary focus of this gathering was to address potential conflicts along the Durand Line, the border shared by the two countries. Additionally, the committee aimed to establish facilities that would benefit the people residing on both sides of the border.

The committee members engaged in constructive deliberations and made valuable decisions that are deemed necessary and beneficial.
