The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation Affairs reported that an urgent meeting took place today, on Saturday, April 16, led by Nangarhar Refugee Director Baz Mohammad Abdul Rahman to promptly address the challenges faced by refugees returning from Pakistan.
During the meeting, Mr. Abdul Rahman highlighted that Pakistan is attempting to repatriate Afghan refugees forcibly, but the Islamic Emirate is committed to offering essential support to the returning refugees.
It is important to mention that Pakistan has intensified the unlawful detention and involuntary expulsion of Afghan refugees in recent days, disregarding principles of good neighborly relations and international laws.
