Minister of Refugees and Repatriation Affairs, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, held a meeting with Japanese Ambassador to Kabul, Takayoshi Kuromaya.
During the discussion, the Minister of Refugees and Repatriation Affairs commended Japan’s humanitarian aid to Afghan refugees and stressed the importance of keeping humanitarian assistance separate from political agendas.
Mawlawi Abdul Kabir also urged neighboring nations to cease the involuntary repatriation of Afghan refugees and instead allow them to return to Afghanistan voluntarily.
Meanwhile, the Japanese ambassador, highlighting Japan’s support across multiple sectors in Afghanistan, expressed his country’s desire for Afghanistan to achieve heightened stability.
