Three years ago on this very day, foreign occupying forces departed Afghanistan, marking the end of a twenty-year occupation through a divine-assisted and humbling defeat at the hands of the courageous Afghan nation and the valiant Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

Every Afghan citizen should express gratitude to almighty Allah that the era of occupation, terror, civilian home bombings, loss of family members, insecurity, and puppet governance has come to an end, giving way to an Islamic government led by sincere and genuine leaders.

This government prioritizes the well-being of its people, upholds religious values, pursues intellectual and political independence, and strives for economic autonomy.

The liberation of Afghanistan from occupation was primarily achieved through divine aid, Afghan sacrifices, and the blood of martyrs. The history of Jihad in Afghanistan stands as a profound lesson for those who endure oppression without resistance, showcasing that Jihad yields fruit when undertaken.

The defeat of the United States, aided by divine forces, signifies the permanent end of military occupation in Afghanistan. No external power can forcibly occupy our land with cannons and tanks, robbing the nation of peace. Insha’Allah.

The U.S. defeat mirrors the defeat of the Quraysh infidels and polytheists in the Battle of the Khandaq (Trench). Their joint attack ultimately failed, dispelling any notion of attacking Medina.

As we commemorate the third anniversary of liberation and occupier withdrawal, the void left by our late Emirs, Amir-ul-Momineen Mullah Mohammad Omar Mujahid and martyr Amir-ul-Momineen Mullah Akhtar Mansour, may Allah have mercy on them, is palpable. This spring, we honor the martyrs who sacrificed for the Islamic system.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, representing the Afghan Muslim community and with numerous native children within its ranks, acknowledges the nation’s two-decade struggle and pledges to secure a luminous future, preventing the recurrence of oppression, occupation, civil strife, factionalism, and insecurity of the past.

Under the Islamic Emirate’s stewardship, our beloved nation has made strides in various domains. The Emirate’s elders are dedicated to furthering progress and development after two decades of Jihad.
