The Ministry of Mines and Petroleum has granted 350 permits to professional workers in the Imam Sahib district of Kunduz province, specifically along the Amu River. This initiative has resulted in approximately 2,500 citizens finding employment opportunities.

The permits have been distributed among individuals living in various areas, including Shahrwan, Kalbat, Ghoro, Mozakra, Qalam Ghazar, Yeka Tut, and Ski, within the Amosind region of the Imam Sahib district. These permits have provided a valuable opportunity for these workers to earn a lawful income and support their families.
It is important to highlight that Kunduz, Baghlan, Takhar, and Badakhshan provinces are not only home to large gold mines but also possess numerous areas suitable for professional mining.

The Ministry of Mines and Petroleum has taken significant measures to prevent illegal mining in these regions. Additionally, the ministry has signed agreements with several domestic and foreign companies for mineral extraction. Furthermore, hundreds of licenses and permits have been issued in these provinces to promote professional development, resulting in employment opportunities for thousands of citizens.
