6 tanks destroyed, another seized in Faryab

FARYAB, Aug. 06 – At around 4:00 pm local time on Saturday, Mujahideen attacked a hireling convoy in Tapa Qashlaq and Dasht Buz areas of Juma Bazar district.
Attack of heavy and light arm lasted till 8:00pm local time, resulting in 6 enemy tanks destroyed, leaving several enemy personnel killed or hurt while forcing the rest to flee while leaving 2 corpses behind.
It is said that a tank and other tools have been confiscated by Mujahideen.
2 Mujahideen were also wounded in the operation.
