HELMAND, Dec. 26 – At around 4:00 pm local time yesterday, as many as 5 enemy gunmen were shot and killed instantly in front of their check post in Darab Charrahi area of Marjah district. Likewise, a hireling trooper working inside district administration center was shot by a sniper of Islamic Emirate and killed on the spot in Nad Ali district early night yesterday. Separately, Mujahideen carried out an assault on a hireling check post in Ainak area of capital Lashkargah afternoon hours on Sunday, during which an armored tank was destroyed by heavy artillery fire, causing heavy fatalities to enemy.
