6 killed in Wardak attack

WARDAK, Aug. 27 – An officer was killed in a bomb blast the bomb exposal experts were trying to defuse in Syed Abad district of Wardak province on Saturday.

Similarly, a roadside bomb blast ripped through an enemy vehicle in the provincial capital of Wardak province and left 3 enemy soldiers dead on Saturday.

On Friday, Mujahideen pounded with heavy weapons an enemy military unit but it is not clear if there are any casualties.

In another report, a puppet was killed with another one injured in a brief exchange of fire with Mujahideen in the provincial capital of Wardak province on Saturday.

Later Saturday, 2 policemen were killed when the police fell into Mujahideen ambush in the provincial capital of Wardak province, while earlier on Saturday, a puppet was killed with another one wounded in a bomb attack in Syed Abad district of the province.
