6 killed in clashes in southeastern Afghanistan

KHOST, Aug. 7 – Four enemy soldiers are reported to have been killed and several others sustained injuries in the clashes erupting between Mujahideen and the enemy in Musa Khel district of Khost province on Saturday.

According to a report from neighboring Paktia province, Mujahideen stormed a number of the enemy posts in Jani Khel district of the province but scale of the attack and size of casualties have yet to be determined.

In another report from Paktia, two enemy soldiers were killed and three others wounded when Mujahideen ambushed the enemy task force in the provincial capital of Paktia province on Saturday. An armored tank and motorbike destroyed in the fighting.
