6 killed, dozens injured as spring offensive begins

WARDAK, Apr. 29 – An enemy soldier was killed and two more suffered injuries when Mujahideen conducted attacks on the center of the district of Jalga in Wardak province on Friday.

Early Friday, a puppet was killed after Mujahideen attacked a check post in Chak district of this province.

Late Friday, an unknown number of the enemy soldiers suffered casualties after Mujahideen attacked the center of the district of Chaghto in Wardak province.

In the province’s Syed Abad district, Mujahideen attacked the building of the district of Syed Abad, causing the enemy heavy losses on Friday.

Later on Friday, the center of the district Jalga came under Mujahideen attack but no losses of life and injuries have been reported.

In the afternoon hours of the day, Mujahideen attacks on the enemy convoy and posts caused the enemy heavy losses in Chak district of Wardak province.

On Saturday, a puppet was killed and another one was injured in a roadside bomb blast in Nirkh of Wardak province.

Also Saturday, a puppet was killed in a sniper attack in Syed Abad district of the province.
