6 killed as large area purged in Gizab

DAIKUNDI, Dec. 08 – At around 5:00 pm local time on Wednesday, Mujahideen carried out coordinated attack on local militia positions in Nikozo and Chalizo areas of Geizab district.
Attacks of heavy and light weapons lasted till midnight, resulting in the said area was completely overrun, forcing the enemy to flee leaving behind 6 corpses, 2 PK machine guns, 1 RPG launcher, 4 rifles.
